Total quantity is 24 workstations over a base year period of performance with two one year option periods. Rack design to be in compliance all applicable Human Factors specifications/requirements. Rack system shall fit in the following dimensions, inclusive of away space and connected cable bend radius: 72 inches Tall, 24 inches Wide, 48 inches Deep (with keyboard folded or withdrawn). Rack system shall be capable of placement within 12 inches of a bulkhead to the rear and 6 inches of a bulkhead or equipment to the side. Capability to perform all required interconnection and maintenance from front of unit. VME slots should be accessible from the front of the unit. No access to side or rear of unit should be required for any "O" level maintenance. Power supply which is connected to two independent power sources, using one as the primary, and automatically switching to the alternate upon loss of the primary, with no interruptionof power to the VME chassis or peripherals. To the maximum extent possible, components should be used which are currently provided for use in existing DOD systems. Rack design shall have the capability of modification to 48 inch height [with minimal NRE impact] for commonality with other platforms (e.g., Seawolf).
