70 -- SITE LICENSE SOL TIRNO97Q00063 DUE 040797 POC Purchasing Agent, Ida Cofield, 202-283-1162 The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a purchase order on a sole-source basis through UniPress Software, Inc for an unlimited IRS site license for PowerTerm InterConnect (most current release) with the following capabilities: The site license shall cover all IRS locations and personnel worldwide. No license limitations shall be placed on locality or quantity of users. Description of Product -- to provide a product that can be generally used and maintain a standard user interface, the desired product shall be provided in both 16-bit and 32-bit versions. These shall be Windows 3.11 and Windows NT compatible, respectively. Communication Methods -- The product shall provide a number of communication methods. The methods must include, but not limited to the following: TCP/IP Winsock (current standard, TN3270, Telnet, SNA Support, Serial, a)NetWare for SAA, Modem, b)Microsoft SNA gateway, Direct connect via COMM port, TN3270E(SNA over TCP/IP), PPP/SLIP, TN5250, Pathworks Decnet (Cterm), a)IBM PC Support router, Pathworks LAT, b)Netsoft router, INT14, c)Client Access/ 400 router, Decnet BAPI, e)EHLLAPI support, APPC.Terminal Emulation -- The teminal emulations provided by the product shall include, but not limited to, the following: VT52, SCO-ANSI, AIXYERM, VT100, BBS-ANSI, IBM 3270 models 2, 3, 4, 5, VT220, ANSI, IBM3278, VT320, Wyse 50/60, IBM3279, VT420, AT386, IBM 5250 models 2, 5 w/color, VT520, Televideo 925/950, IBM3179, VT525, DG/MV D 412, IBM3477. File Transfer Protocols -- The file transfer protocols provided in the product shall include, but not limited to, the following:Zmodem (including crash recover mode), Kermit, ASCII, INDSFILE (CMS, TSO and CICS). Printing Capabilities -- The product shall have the following capabilities:80 and 132 column printing, Landscape and portrait printing, Screen print in any emulation, Auto print mode (ability to turn on and off), Slave printing (transparent to the user), IBM 3287 printer, IBM 5254 and 3812 printers, SNA LU1 and LU3 support, Must not truncate print lines before being to spooler. Screen Capabilities -- The product shall have, but limited to the following screen and display capabilities: Graphical color selection, Scalable fonts, 80 and 132 column screen support, Blink and underline attributes, Reverse screen support.TCP/IP Communication -- The product shall have the ability to communicate with systems using TCP/IP in the following environments:TCP/IP Stack, Winsock 1.1, DHCP Client, NIS Client, InetD, SNMP, WinSNMP 1.0, Ethernet, Token Ring. Other Capabilities -- The product shall have, but not limited to, the following capabilities:Ability to dial and establish a connection using modem-to-modem COMM port. Multiple terminal sessions. Include a scripting language to automate connection and file transfer procedures. The language must have at a minimum of the capabilities: login automation, ability to hide menus, perform any file operation (copy, delete, transfer, etc), ability to execute programs on either the local or host computer, logic, looping and math functions, message box display, text input box manipulation, popup box to handle password entry (to hide password), text search and replace, use of regular expressions (wildcards), ability to titlling, Ability to define and use Macros. All responsible sources who can provide and meet the above requirement shall submit written quotations by April 7, 1997. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, such requests for solicitations will be considered non responsive. Evaluation/Award will be based on the over all lowest cost to the government. All quotes shall include price(s); FOB Point; a poc (name and telephone numbers); GSA contract number if applicable; delivery date; business size and payment terms.
