This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source purchase order with the Remedy Corporation, 1505 Salado Drive, Mountain View CA, 94043. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42. Maintenance services for licenses and a onetime update charge for 187 each HP Unix operating systems for Remedy software. SIC 7379. Small business size standard is $18 mil. DESCRIPTION: Remedy software maintenance basic support services, to include licenses, for 187 users for the period of one year, vendor part number TS-AR-BP. Remedy onetime update charge, to include licenses, for 187 users, vendor part number TS-AR-OT. The contractor shall provide on-site maintenance and software renewal for 187 Remedy software users. The contractor shall provide the personnel and supplies necessary to perform licensing and upgrade support. Software maintenance support includes updates, upgrades, enhancement releases and documentation. Technical software support shall be provided to resolve bugs/glitches found in the software releases. The contractor shall guarantee all materials for the period of the manufacturer warranty and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of delivery and shall remedy all resulting defects and faults attributed thereto, at the contractor's own expense within the response time. Bidders are requestedto submit prices on the following CLINs: Line Item 0001, Software Maintenance Support for 187 licenses, the quantity is one (1) year; Line Item 0002, onetime Update Charge for 187 users, the quantity is one (1) year.
