management and operating contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE)
at the Idaho National Engineering & Environmental Laboratory (INEEL)
is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) on waste transfer
technologies to be used during excavation and retrieval of: buried
hazardous waste, and/or radioactive waste, and/or unexploded
ordinances. Technologies could include, but are not limited to, double
door containment systems. The equipment will be used to transfer waste
from an end effector to an area outside the excavation site. This is
not a Request for Proposal, but a Request for Information. This RFI
will close 15 days after publication. Companies interested in supplying
information on hazardous/radioactive/UXO waste transfer technologies
should send their response, including applicable qualifications and
