The U.S. EPA, National Risk Management Research Laboratory, Cincinnati, OH technical support services for its Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program. Detailed technical knowledge and expertise are required in the following 4 areas of service: (1) review of project-specific and program-specific quality planning documents, data, and research reports; (2) review of field, laboratory, and environmental engineering technical activities; (3) technical quality support for NRMRL quality system operations and (4) technical quality support to quality-related studies. The support shall be required in the specialized programs of the National Risk Management Research Laboratory (NRMRL) which include: Water Supply and Water Resources, Land Remediation and Pollution Control, Sustaninable Technology, Air Pollution Prevention and Control, Subsurface Protection and Remediation, and Technology Transfer and Support. The Government anticipates the award of a cost plus fixed fee, level of effort term contract commencing approximately 9/30/97 with a 12-month base term and 4 options to extend the term by 12 months each for a maximum potential period of performance of 60 months. The base level of effort during each term shall be established at 3500 direct labor hours and options shall be included to increase the level of effort during any term by up to 1000 hours.
