The research study plan will be used to develop drilled shaft design techniques to account for any potential safety problems resulting from sub-detectable minor defects of drilled shaft construction. ADSC will contribute an equivalent matching amount of funds and in-kind services including equipment, materials and labor to build and test the experimental shafts. This is a Simplified Acquisition.
