Schick, Contracting Officer, (205) 955-1187 The U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command intends to negotiate with DESE Research, Inc., 315 Wynn Drive, Suite 2, Huntsville, AL 35805-1960 for additional hours under an existing SBIR Phase III contract to define functional requirements and battlefield information flow, vertically, and horizontally across the Force XXI Operational Architecture (OA). Using the IES, and following guidance provided by the C4ISR Architecture Framework panel and the Division XXI OA, the contractor will develop operational concept diagrams, organizational/command relationship charts and connectivity diagrams, operational concept diagrams; and IDEF models. Software maturity achieved by DESE under the SBIR program is critical for performance of these additional hours. See Note 22. (0078)
