required. The RFQ will be issued on or about 09 April 1997. Anticipated
award date is on or about 08 May 1997. Provide all labor, material, and
equipment necessary to perform dockside repairs including the following
Minimum Items: 1) Renew Full Round Sections. 2) Renew Watertight and
Weathertight Doors. 3) Renew/Rewire Gauge Panel on Bridge. 4) Renew
Heating and Chill Water Piping in Engine Room. 5) Renew Sheathing and
Insulation in Crew's Berthing Area. Vessel's homeport is Bayonne, NJ.
Vessel length is 65 Foot "C" Class Harbor Tug. Vessel availability
schedule is 07 July 1997 for 28 days. The place of performance for this
vessel is restricted to inland waterways with no open water transits.
The boundary lines/points in the geographic restriction areas are: New
York/Connecticut border and Troy Locks in the Hudson River in the
north, U.S. Coast Guard District One and U.S. Coast Guard District Five
boundary at Toms River, in the south. There will be a nonrefundable
charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money
order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other
referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street,
Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. The proposed contract listed here is a part of
the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and
specifications will be issued on or after 09 April 97. All responsible
sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United
