The National Science Foundation (NSF) has a requirement for facilities management services for support of its office facility at 4201 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA. This requirement has been accepted by the U.S. Small Business Administrative under its 8(a) Program, which has assigned to it the requirement no. 7700-97-700387. NSF intends to award one contract using competitive procedures authorized under FAR 19.805-1. This procurement is 100% restricted to small, disadvantaged businesses certified under the SBA 8(a) Program for SIC Code 8744 -- Facilities Management Services. The basic requirement for onsite (i.e., Arlington, VA) support services include mail management services, reproduction services, labor services, proposal processing services, and chauffeur services for the NSF Director. There is an optional requirement for supply services,warehouse services, and publications management services. The contract period will be one year with four one-year option periods. Interested parties should submit a written request for RFP CPO 97-006. Parties which had previously submitted a SBA requirement no. 7700-97-700387 will be sent a copy of the solicitation without further action on their part.
