CORPS OF ENGINEERS' ELECTRONIC BID SETS (EBS) CONFERENCE The U.S. Army Engineer Division, Pacific Ocean is sponsoring an electronic bid sets (EBS) conference on April 9, 1997 from 0900 to 1100 A.M., Hawaiian Standard Time, at Fort Shafter Flats, Bldg 1554, Assembly Hall, Fort Shafter, Hawaii, to familiarize contractors, trade associations, and other interested parties with the new process of disseminating solicitation documents utilizing Compact Disks -- Read Only Memory (CD-ROM) and the Internet rather than the hard copy format. The process for EBS was developed by a tri-service organization consisting of Army, Air Force, and Navy to streamline the acquisition process.
