Prospective bidders are responsible for viewing the IFB, subsequent amendments thereto and submitting sealed paper bids with appropriate bonding at the time and date specified in the electronic solicitation. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work consists of removing a hydronic heating and cooling system with through-the-wall fan coil units, piping, insulation, associated hydronic equipment, and cover panels. Other equipment to be removed includes a chiller, boiler, and minor controls. The boiler flue contains asbestos insulation which is to be abated by a Florida licensed asbestos abatement contractor. Pumps, an air handling unit and some above-grade ductwork are also to be removed. New equipment to be furnished and installed includes a boiler, chiller, air handling units, pumps and miscellaneous other hydronic equipment, and a direct digital control system.
