Pre-remediation and remediation environmental services for the Bureau of Reclamation on an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery basis for an initial period from date of award through September 30, 1998 with four option years. Work may include identification of hazards at identified sites, remediation to include removal and disposal of hazardous waste and site restoration. It is anticipated that approximately 50% of the orders under the resulting contracts will involve some level of construction activities. Those firms determined in the initial evaluation to be most likely to be eligible for award will be required to provide oral presentations. This requirement is being considered for multiple award and is a small business set-aside under SIC 8744 with a size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will iss approximately April 15, 1997. This solicitation contains clauses for firm fixed price, and cost type contracts along with clauses for services and for construction. Delivery Orders may be issued under any combination of these types. The estimated ceiling value of each award is $50,000,000 per contract period.
