The automation system is oriented towards breakbulk movements and is not conductive to identifying containerized munitions shipments. Off-line (nonautomated) actions must be taken to identify container requirements. This often results in inaccurate and/or untimely identification of requirements. Required results of the development of software to automate ... container load planning process. Remarks (2): The model will determine individual, compatible container load plans for preferred and alternate type containers. The model will calculate the number of containers required to transport the munition requirements. The software product will identify the necessary blocking and bracing materials required. (0079)
