15 -- F-14 WING OUTER PANEL (WOP) FATIGUE TEST SOL N00019-94-G-0001 POC Contact, Michael Smith, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to award a delivery order to the Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethpage, New York for a full scale F-14 Wing Outer Panel (WOP) fatigue test to include; replacement of the test article; repair/refurbishment of the test fixture; repair, replacement, and verification of instrumentation; execution of the full scale fatigue test and engineering analysis to achieve 18,000 equivalent flight hours; and related technical data. Northrop Grumman Corporation, as the designer, developer, and sole producer of F-14 aircraft, is the only known source available to provide the effort in the time frame required.
