Valovcin, Phone (703)604-0757 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a contract to Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), 444 Salomon Circle, Sparks, Nevada 89434, for the procurement of approximately nine (9) Common Automatic Recovery Systems (CARS). The procurement will also include spare and repair parts necessary to support the CARS units. SNC is the sole designer and developer of the CARS and as such is the only known source which possesses the requisite knowledge and skills necessary to provide the required systems.
