Contract Specialist, (202) 307-4366 The U.S. Department of Justice,
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for dialed
number recorders. This intercept equipment will be used nationwide. The
equipment to be ordered must intercept communications from various
media and networks as allowed by law. Once intercepted, the dialed
digits must be decoded and the contents passed on to a connection point
to be stored as evidence on each subject of a court-ordered
interception. The Government anticipates making multiple contract
awards on an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity basis for five
years (one year plus four one-year options). Interested parties may
receive a copy of the solicitation by submitting a request in writing
to the address above, or by in this requirement should submit a request
in writing to facsimile (202) 307-7818 within thirty (30) calendar days
from the date of this notice. Requests must reference Solicitation
Number DEA-97-R-0015 and be addressed to the point of contact: Jeff
Saylor. The Government does not anticipate issuing a draft RFP or RFC.
Interested parties are not entitled to receive bid and preparation
