58 -- DIALED NUMBER RECORDERS SOL DEA-97-R-0015 POC Jeffrey Saylor, Contract Specialist, (202) 307-4366 The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for dialed number recorders. This intercept equipment will be used nationwide. The equipment to be ordered must intercept communications from various media and networks as allowed by law. Once intercepted, the dialed digits must be decoded and the contents passed on to a connection point to be stored as evidence on each subject of a court-ordered interception. The Government anticipates making multiple contract awards on an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity basis for five years (one year plus four one-year options).
