The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a quantity of one (1) high performance, time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometer (ToF-SIMS) system, including installation. The system shall be capable of a mass resolving power (m/dm) of at least 7000 at m/z=28 and 10000 above m/z=100. It shall have a spacial resolution of less than 0.1 microns in DC mode and 0.2 microns in pulsed mode. It shall be a highly automated system that is under full computer control. Detailed specifications shall be provided in the solicitation package. The FOB Point shall be Destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Delivery and installation are desired 6 months after receipt of order, and required 10 months after receipt of order.
