Center -- Washington Operations Office anticipates the issuance of a
Draft Request for Proposals, to be followed by RFP Number
DAAB07-97-R-Y002, with an RFP release date projected for May 1997, for
the U.S. Army Logistics Integration Agency (LIA) Program Management
Support Acquisition. The U.S. Army LIA is a field operating agency of
the Department of Army (DA), Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics
(DCSLOG). The successful offeror shall provide program management and
technical support services to the U.S. Army LIA's program management of
initiatives and projects for military logistics. Contractor personnel
are required to possess a working knowledge of military logistics
processes and automated systems. This acquisition has been set aside
for award under section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The SIC code
that the successful offeror must qualify for under this acquisition is
8711. An indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract
is contemplated. Anticipated release date of this Draft RFP is on or
before April 7, 1997. This RFP DAAB07-97-R-Y002 will be made available
ONLY on the CECOM Acquisition Center -- Washington Operations Office
Bulletin Board System and World Wide Web Home Page. Users with modems
