This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is DADA10-97-Q-0038 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-41. This is a sole source procurement. SIC is 7373 and Small Business size standard is $18M. The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis with JEH-EAS, Inc., dba STARS, 11222 Disco, San Antonio, Texas to expand and upgrade the existing electronic filing system at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Ft Sam Houston, Texas. The contractor will furnish all the necessary hardware and software to provide a turnkey integration required to interface with the existing STARS document imaging system currently installed on the BAMC Network. The service includes: Hardware, Software, Installation, maintenance, and training. Maintenance is a 2 hour on-site response time requirement. Software is STARS customized proprietary File Magic, File-It and Fortis. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, without addenda, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with offer.
