R -- ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN SOL 52-SOBC-7-00002 POC Patti Becker 301-457-1831 The U.S. Census Bureau intends to acquire advertising services via competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) for a major national campaign to inform the public about the upcoming census and to motivate everyone to participate. This RFP will be for the acquisition of services to create, produce, and place an extensive campaign. Tasks may include research and analysis; development of advertising concepts and messages; development, coordination, and supervision of the ad campaign; development, implementation, and documentation of the media buying strategy; and evaluation. Potential offerors are advised that the RFP will include a requirement for the winning contractor to work with the Government Printing Office to obtain printing services for printed products designed under the prospective contract. The projected period of performance will be Fiscal Year 1998, with three one-year options.
