The contractor shall furnish all parts, tools, labor, supervision and materials necessary to construct a 9,000 square foot C-130 Engine and Propellers Shop. This facility provides space to perform maintenance on C-130 engines and propellers. Functional areas to include maintenance bay and propeller shop area, baring/cleaning/inspection room, engine and parts wash room, training room, tool crib area, mobility storage area, small components buildup area and administration areas. Magnitude of this project is $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. The solicitation packages will be issued o/a May 15, 1997 with bid opening o/a June 25, 1997. Contract performance time is approximately 300 calendar days. Plans will be available for inspection at USPFO For Idaho, 3489 West Harvard St., Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho 83705. Request for invitation for bids may be submitted after publication of the notice. Plans and specifications will be available for a non-refundable charge of $135.00, make checks payable to DFAS-SB.
