The Government intends to issue a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price Type Contract with five consecutive ordering periods. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Approved source is Vickers, Inc., Jackson, MS. The time reuired for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot bedelayed pending approval of a new source.
