The General Services Administration(GSA), Automotive Center will be issuing a new basic international and domestic solicitation for Schedule 38 Part II Section B -- Construction, Snow and Highway Maintenance Equipment Attachments (FSC 3830) on or about April 15, 1997. This is a five year non-mandatory indefinite quantity indefinite delivery fixed price with economic price adjustment contract with F.O.B. destination terms and one 5 year option. The following Special Item Numbers (SINs) are included: 272-101 Construction Equipment Attachments (for skid steer loaders, trucks and tractors, motor graders, compactors, front-end loaders/backhoes, excavators, crawlerdozers); 272-102 Snow Maintenance Attachments -- Replacement Blades and Cutting Edges for Snowplows; 272-103 Coupler Systems; 272-104 Truck and Tractor Mounted Attachments (Conveyor Systems, Highway and Street Maintenance). To assist the customer agencies this solicitation contains an order limitation. When an agency order exceeds this order amount, it is recommended that the agency contact the vendor for a reduced price. Vendors will not be obligated to accept these orders in accordance with FAR 52.216-19. The effective contract period is October 1, 1997 through September 30, 2002.
