A -- STATISTICAL AND CLINICAL COORDINATING CENTER SOL RFP-NIH-NIAID-DAIDS-98-05 DUE 060397 POC Merilee Rahe-Stoline, Contract Specialist, (301) 496-2508 The Efficacy Trials Branch (ETB) of the Division of AIDS of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, NIH, is soliciting proposals from SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 7379 to operate a Statistical and Clinical Coordinating Center (SACCC) for the Women and Infants Transmission Study (WITS). The selected contractor shall provide: statistical and research design expertise and statistical analyses and data management for the WITS, clinical research training for clinical site physical examiners, a system to conduct study-wide communication, for coordination of data management and specimen tracking systems for the processing, storage, and retrieval of laboratory specimens for the WITS, statistical and data management support for collaborative studies between WITS & other cohorts and for special projects of the ETB. The size standard is $18 million. It is anticipated that one completion type cost-reimbursement contract will be awarded for a periodof five (5) years.
