C -- ARCHITECT & ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR TYPE A STUDY TO REPAIR OFFICES & HVAC IN BLDG 101 SOL F3260597R0008 DUE 042597 POC Ken Barborak at (701) 747-5314, FAX (701) 747-4215 The A & E is to furnish design services necessary to provide a Type "A" study for JFSD 970069, Repair Offices and HVAC in Building 101 at Grand Forks AFB, ND in accordance with the Statement of Work. The study is to include the following: 1) Evaluation of Building 101 existing mechanical HVAC systems. The evaluation shall be based on anticipated compartmentalization of the office spaces. The evaluation shall provide direction for modification of the existing HVAC system to work with new office layout; 2) The A & E is to work with the base architect to incorporate in office layout with HVAC system. The magnitude of this project is less than $25,000 and the design time will be 90 days after contract award. A firm fixed price contract will be used. Significant evaluation factors in order of relative importance are as follows: 1) Specialized experience and personnel qualifications in areas of disciplines identified above; 2) Capacity to accomplish work in the required time; 3) Past experience with respect to performance on DOD contracts; 4) Qualifications and experience of subcontractors; 5) Location in geographical area of consideration, which is Grand Forks AFB, ND and vicinity providing a sufficient number of qualified firms to respond therin. Firms desiring consideration shall submit both a SF254 and SF255. SF254 and SF255 are also required for consultants or joint firms. This is not a request for proposal.
