Remedial and Preventive Maintenance Service for Local Area Network
(LAN) and Charge Data Systems (CDS) Application Servers, Personal
Computer (PC) Equipment, and Associated Peripherals located at the
Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Headquarters and Field
Office Sites. The Associated Peripherals include, but are not limited
to, terminals, printers, scanners, disk drives, monitors, keyboards,
communication devices, network concentrators, and other components. The
Remedial Maintenance Service shall include problem diagnosis and repair
or replacement of defective parts and/or peripheral. The Preventive
Maintenance shall include cleaning, inspections, and adjustments as
specified by the original equipment manufacturer. Quantity Indefinite.
The principal manufacturer of computers include, but are not limited
to, Dell Products, Zenith, Gateway, ALR, TRICORD and Compaq Products.
The principal manufacturers of printers include, but are not limited
to, Hewlett Packard, NEC, Epson, Canon, AST, QMS, Tektronics, Okidata
and Panasonic Products. The contractor shall have nationwide
maintenance capabilities and be able to service all 51 EEOC Locations.
Service shall be available during normal business hours (9:00 AM to
5:30 PM, local time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed
by the Government). EEOC requires two levels of response time based
upon the type of equipment. Level 1 response time shall not exceed four
business hours from receipt by the contractor of the maintenance call
request. Level 2 response time shall not exceed eight business hours
from receipt by the contractor of the maintenance call request.
Duration of contract period from date of award through September 30,
1997, with options to extend performance up to 60 months. Closing
Response Date for Solicitation June 20, 1997 or 30 days after issuance
of solicitation. All requests for this solicitation must be in writing
and must reference the solicitation number. Telephone requests will not
