NEW ITEM PROGRAM Applications/offers sought from businesses who have developed new or improved commercial products that have the potential to provide more economical and efficient means for Federal agencies to accomplish their missions. Applications/offers will be evaluated/awarded through the General Services Administration's Commercial Products Acquisition Laboratory (CPAL), which will assign National Stock Numbers (NSN) to products awarded under this lab. Applications must be submitted before June 30, 1997, to be considered for the contract period beginning January 1, 1998. Applications received after June 30, 1997, will be considered for contract period beginning April 1, 1998. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered by the agency.
