In order that potential sources may offer comments on the Request for Proposal for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract for General Construction Projects to be issued in the near future; a DRAFT RFP will be published on the Internet approximately 4/3/97. Industry comments/suggestions for improvement of the RFP may be submitted by close of business on April 17, 1997. Prospective offerors shall not submit a proposal in response to this notice. The purpose of this notice is to afford industry the opportunity to comment on any perceived problems or suggestions for improvement of the proposal instructions, evaluation approach and other contract terms and conditions. The specifications for the sample delivery orders will be included in the final RFP. The Government intends to issue multiple awards under the final solicitation. The contract will have a 2-year base period and a 3-year option period. Comments should be forwarded to the identified point of contact via electronic transmission or by facsimile transmission. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the review. Any questions regarding this announcement should be directed to the identified point of contact.
