Blower Motor on Main Motor, (7) Overhaul, Renew and Test Valves, (8)
Overhaul, Renew, and Test Relief Valves, (9) Inspect and Test Steering
System Relief Valves, (10) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Rudder
Assembly, (11) Overhaul Anchor and Anchor Chain, (12)Preserve
Underwater Body -- Fresh Water, Non-destructive Coating System
Thickness Measurements -- Tender, (13) Clean, Inspect and Disinfect
Potable Water Tanks, (14) Provide Temporary Logistics, (15) Routine
Drydocking, etc. Indefinite items include but are not limited to the
following: (1) Welding Repairs, (2) Renew Shaft Coupling Bolts and

Recondition Propeller, (9) Preserve the Transducer Hull Rings and Renew
the Depth Indicating Transducers, (10) 8.0, 6.0, 10.0 3.0, 2.5, 2.0,
1.5, 1.0 Inch Waster Piece Renewal, (11) Preserve Underwater Body --
Fresh Water, Condition A/B -- Tender (365 Sq Ft) & Condition A/B --

Crew's Washroom, (17) Ultrasonic Testing, etc. Vessel's homeport is
Cleveland, OH. The place of performance is restricted to the Great
Lakes. Vessel's availability schedule is 7 JUL 97 for 42 days. Vessel
is a 140 Foot Icebreaking Tug. Breadth, Extreme is 37 Feet 6 inches.
All referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main
Street, Suite 500, Norfolk, VA. A charge of $100.00 is required in the
form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S.
Coast Guard for requested drawings. All businesses, large and small,
are encouraged to submit bids for the subject requirement. Plans and
specifications will be issued on or after 14 APR 97. All responsible
sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States
