J -- OVERHAUL OF TWO (2) PT6T-3 PRATT & WHITNEY ENGINES FOR A BELL 212 HELICOPTER SOL 51WCNA706054RA POC Ronald Anielak 816-426-7267 ext. 226 The Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) has a requirement for the overhaul of two (2) PT6T-3 Pratt & Whitney engines for a Bell 212 helicopter, FAA registration number N6ORF, due to approaching Time-Between-Overhaul. The Helicopter is used primarily for laser hydrography, with the helicopter operating at approximately 600 feet above fresh and salt water taking depth measurements used in updating nautical charts. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, special tools, and facilities to overhaul the engines to a zero time status. The overhaul is intended to be done during July-September 97. The overhaul shall be in accordance with the Pratt Whitney PT6T-3 overhaul manual. The contractor shall replace all parts recommended by the manufacturer to be replaced at each overhaul regardless of their apparent condition. This includes, but is not limited to, gaskets, packing, rubber parts, lockwashers, tablocks, tabwashers, etc. The pertinent information applicable to the engines as of December 31, 1996 is as follows: Engine 1 -- Manufacturer: Pratt & Whitney; Model: PT6T-3; Serial number: CP-PA61415; Time since New: 6,789; Time since Last Overhaul: 3,290; Last Ovhl: sept 83 by Pratt & Whitney. Engine 2 -- Manufacturer: Pratt & Whitney; Model: PT6T-3; Serial number: CP-PS61542; Time since New: 9,143; Time since Last overhaul: 3,358; Last ovhl: Sept 84 by Pratt & Whitney.
