Blesi, Contract Specialist (703) 697-0801, Contracting Officer, Joyce Rose, (703) 695-2564=20 Defense Supply Service-Washington on behalf of the Office of the=20 Assistant Secretary of Defense (Nuclear and Chemical and Biological=20 Defense Programs) (OATSD (NCB) intends to execute a =93Bridge=20 Modification=94 under contract MDA903-92-C-0036 to EXTEND the period=20 of performance from 14 May 1997 to 30 September 1997. Pursuant to=20 FAR 6.302-1, the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification will be=20 negotiated with one source, ANSER, 1215 Jefferson Davis Highway, Suite=20 800, Arlington, Virginia 22202.The period of performance will be 4.5=20 months. The contract modification will allow for the continuation for=20 required specific services. Tasks include: (1) Assessment of the DoD=20 CBD, analytical/technical support for the DoD CBD Science &=20 Technology Program, analysis of goals and objectives for the DoD CBD=20 Program, General Accounting Office (GAO) Report Analysis, CBD=20 technical assessment support, integration and analysis support for requir= ed=20 annual reports, technical support to CBD Program acquisition meetings,=20 CBD technical/financial data base maintenance/updates/analysis, and=20 Congressional issue analysis. The Contractor must have Top Secret=20 Special Access Facility Clearance and an accredited Special=20 Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). The project manager for this=20 effort shall have in-depth experience in CBD Programs and with the=20 Department of Defense=92s planning, Programming and Budgeting system=20 (PPBS), with a support staff having extensive experience in all aspects o= f=20 the CBD Program. A conflict of interest clause will be required excludin= g=20 the contractor from competing on CBD Program hardware and software=20 acquisitions. This notice of intent to issue a CONTRACT=20 MODIFICATION is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, though any=20 capability statement received within forty-five (45) days after date of=20 publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government.
