The Synopsis for the Computer Line Pattern Design and Engraving System listed in the Commerce Business Daily dated February 19, 1997, on page 20, under Code 36, Special Industry Machinery, is hereby modified. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to negotiate a firm fixed price supply-type contract for a Computer Line Pattern Design and Engraving System for use in the Washington, D. C. facility. The system shall consist of a recorder/scanner, computer design work station, plotter, engraving work station, interfaces, software and associated equipment, cables, and peripherals. The system shall produce, manipulate, output and store sophisticated, intricate line patterns, rulings, images, and other elements of security documents design.
