The AEGIS Computer Center (ACC) has a requirement for one standalone, turnkey media duplication system. The media duplication system will contain four (4) 4mm tape drives, four (4) 8mm tape drives, four (4) QIC 2GB tape drives, and four (4) 9 track 1600 BPI open reel tape drives capable of handling reel sizes to 10-1/2 inches diameter. The media duplication system must contain an internal data processing capability to allow for the off-line duplication of tapes. Conversion of tapes (media) from one format to another format is not required. In the technical proposal, the vendor, if other than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) must provide a certification of its ability to transfer the software licenses from the OEM to the Government. A one year warranty shall be provided which includes the replacement of any defective parts, including any major components such as tape drives, monitor, keyboard, processor, and interface adapter for which the vendor is not the OEM. If repair is required during thewarranty period, the vendor shall provide the Government with a Return Authorization Number for factory repair or possible replacement. The vendor shall provide a Point-of-Contact and phone number for warranty support at the time of award. The vendor shall provide a one (1) year maintenance agreement for replacement of all system components; all replacement parts available in two (2) days via next day air services; two (2) on-site visits to cover significant repairs; and all system software upgrades.
