Brown, 413-582-3093 Project 631-97-102, HVAC/Isolation Rooms for TB consists of architectural and HVAC renovations for Ward Isolation Rooms as well as isolation areas in Ambulatory Care for TB isolation at the VA Medical Center, Northampton, MA, in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. Work requires the services of a Professional Industrial Hygienist and AIHA Certified Laboratory to identify if asbestos containing materials are present in the area of construction. If asbestos is present, the team will design asbestos abatement required during construction work. Selection will be based on recent specialized experience, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to the project, the location of the firm in relation to this Medical Center, and experience and capabilities using CAAD. Applications will be accepted from firms that maintain an established office in the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine.
