D -- NETWORK OPERATIONS AND SUPPORT POC Karen Gantt, 202/512-2709 The U.S. General Accounting Office hereby provides Notice of Intent to issue a bridge contract for Contract 5130015 (Network Operations and Support) as a sole-source to InfoPro, Inc., Silver Spring, MD. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. This sole-source bridge contract will be approved under FAR 6.302-1 as the current contractor is the only known source able to satisfy the agency's needs during this period until a competitive contract (initial year plus four option years) for network operations and support is solicited, negotiated, and awarded. There currently is no solicitation for this competitive contract requirement to review. Separate notice will be provided in accordance with FAR 5.2 regarding this competitive requirement. The sole-source bridge contract with InfoPro, Inc. will take effect October 1, 1997 and extend for a base period of 1 year while competitive procurement activity is conducted. See Note 22. (0084)
