Reinstall Intermediate Shaft, (4) Renew Water-Lubricated Shaft Bearing
-- Port Shaft and Starboard Shaft, (5) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall
Propellers, (6) Clean and Inspect Skin/Keel Coolers, (7) Preserve the
Transducer Hull Rings and Renew the Depth Indicating Transducers, (8)
Install New Conditioning Unit and Components, (9) Overhaul, Renew and
Test Valves, (10) Renew Garbage Disposal Vacuum Piping, (11) Renew
Potable Water Piping, (12) Overhaul Steering System, (13) Remove,
Inspect, and Reinstall Rudder Assemblies, (14) Overhaul Boat Davits,
(15) Perserve Portlight Penetrations, (16) Preserve Bilge Areas, (17)
Preserve Bouy Deck, (18) Preserve Exterior Decks, (19) Clean and
Inspect Diesel Fuel Tanks, (20) Remove, Dispose, and Prove New Fuel
Oil, (21) Preserve Underwater Body -- Coating Thickness Measurement --
Nondestructive, (22) Preserve Freeboard, (23) Renew Corrosion
Preventive Zinc Anodes, (24) Remove Asbestos Containing Pipe

Waster Piece Renewal, (7) Remove, Dispose, and Provide New Fuel Oil,
(8) Preserve Underwater Body -- Coating Thickness Measurement
(Destructive) & Condition A/B/C, (9) Clean & Inspect Sewage & Grey
Water Collection and Holding Tanks, (10) Erect Staging and Preserve
Mast, (11) Provide Temporary Messing, (12) Provide Temporary Berthing,
(13) Ultrasonic Testing, etc. Vessel's homeport is Mobile, AL. The
place of performance is not restricted. Vessel's availability schedule
is 7 JUL 97 for 42 days. Vessel is a 133 Foot Coastal Bouy Tender.
Breadth, Extreme is 33 Feet. All referenced documents are available for
viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 500, Norfolk, VA. A charge of
$100.00 is required in the form of a certified check or money order
made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All
businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit bids for the
subject requirement. Plans and specifications will be issued on or
after 14 APR 97. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall
be considered by the United States Coast Guard. "This Notice is for
