Recycling/Removal of Wastepaper -- removal of various grades of wastepaper from Government-owned and/or operated premises and other locations in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. Service shall be provided regardless of the size or monthly volume of wastepaper. Wastepaper will include: Sorted white ledger paper (Post Consumer), computer printout paper, colored ledger (Post Consumer), cardboard/corrugated containers, books/coated sulphite books, map paper/white and colored ledger (manifold), mixed paper files for destruction/mixed paper, and manifold white ledger (preconsumer). The Government will not guarantee estimated tonnage of wastepaper and payment by the Contractor shall be made on the actual weight picked up. The Contractor shall provide the necessary storage containers and other equipment (e.g. pallets) for use in Government designated area(s) in sufficient quantities for the storage of the wastepaper accumulations prior to removal by the Contractor. Additionally, a roll-off dumpster must be provided for cardboard recycling. The containers shall be enclosed and kept free from holes, vermin, or foreign matter of wastepaper. Contract period of performance will be for one (1) year with an option to extend the contract for one (1) additional year. This is not a commercial item.
