reconstruction of 8.27 miles on the North Umpqua Trail No. 1414 in
Douglas County, Oregon. Work consists of clearing, grubbing,
excavation, construction of shallow stream fords, sawn timber bridge,
rock retaining walls, log and rock barriers, driven rebar and
construction of a geofabric retaining wall. Sawn timber bridge and
driven rebar will be optional items for this project. Estimated start
work is July 1, 1997 with a project completion time of 120 calendar
days. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be
considered in the award evaluation; solicitations may be requested via
mail, telephone, or FAX 541-957-3495 to the attention of the
Contracting Office. The Government estimates the price range for this
