Y -- CONSTRUCT HAZARDOUS STORAGE FACILITY SOL DAHA19-97-B-0002 DUE 052297 POC William Devitt, Contract Specialist, 508-233-5761 PRE-SOLICITATION: The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, supplies, equipment, material, transportation and labor to construct a new base hazardous storage facility of approximately 2,000 SF. Project includes site work, concrete, bituminous pavements, utility work as well as a fire suppression system. There are three (3) additive bid items as follows: 1. Upgrade room 107 (Material Storage) to Class 1, Division 1 high hazard occupancy; 2. Construct cylinder storage bays on south side of the building; 3. Extend roadway to proposed access road to the west of the site an provide a vehicle access gate in the new perimeter fencing. All work to be performed at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, MA in accordance with the plans and specifications. Performance period is for one hundred eighty (180) days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
