The work includes repair and rehabilitation consisting of: replacing 251 linear feet of riprap revetment destroyed by the February 1996 flood, and placing 259 linear feet of riprap cut off structure. Both items of work consist of Class III riprap, bedding material, filter fabric, excavation, embankment material, erosion control, pipe bedding, soil blanket, and mobilization and demobilization.The Contractor shall be required to commence work under this contract within four (4) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed; to prosecute the work diligently; and to complete the entire work not later than 30 calendar days after commencing work. The time stated for completion includes final cleanup of the premises. In-water period for this site shall be performed during July 1 through August 31.
