The work includes new wooden handicap access ramps and landings, handicap toilets, aluminum awning over landings, new concrete slabs and walks, installation of existing steel stairs, new pumbing and sanitary sewer piping and connections to existing service, repairs to roof and air conditioning units, upgrades or replacement of electrical panels and interior wiring and other incidental related work. This project is being solisited under simplified acquistion procedures and is unrestricted and open to all interested firms. The estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Standard Industrial Code is 1542. For purposes of completing the Represenations and certifications issued with the specificaiton, any concern submitting a quote is classified as "small" if its annual reciepts for the preceding three years do not exceed $17,000,000. Bid and Performance bonds are not required, a Payment bond will be required upon award. Quotes are due no later than 4:30 pm local time on 02 May 1997. This is not a public bid opening.
