all soils under the concrete that have petroleum hydrocarbon
contamination above the Method 1 standards. Background: Phase I initial
Site Investigation was conducted at the site in response to a release
of fuel oil to subsurface soil beneath the basement floor in Feb. 1996.
This investigation involved the installation of seven permanent ground
water monitoring wells and one temporary well. A small area of the
basement slab was removed to reveal a leaking oil line fitting. An
Initial Response Action (Mass.DEP) was completed on April 1, 1996.
Contract type: RFQ, 100% Total Set-Aside for Emerging Small Business.
Proposed contract to be awarded to low, responsive, responsible quoter.
