Scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to providing all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to perform District Court Expansion work at the Grant Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse which will include demolition, HVAC ductwork, removing of window coverings, new construction and a new Grand Jury area. The completion time for this project is one hundred and sixty (160) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Specifications will be available on or about April 23, 1997. Proposals will be opened privately at the General Services Administration, Property Management Contracts Branch (5PMC-W), 230 S. Dearborn Street, Room 3324, Mail Stop 33-3, Chicago, Illinois 60604-1696. This is a Request for Proposals. Proposals are due on May 22, 1997, at 4:00 p.m. (local time) and should identify the project title, solicitation number, and proposal closing date on the outside of the envelope. The proposed contract is being solicited on a total Small Business Set Aside basis. Bids are solicited only from small business concerns. Bids received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.
