Work includes the relocation of existing arresting gear 361 and 362 and associated equipment. This work shall include the construction of new foundation structures for all gear equipment, new foundation base plates for the runway edge sheave and arresting gear engine assemblies, and a new runway protection plate system along the new pendant strip. This work shall also include the relocation of the existing arresting gear indicator lighting, modifications to the existing tape sweep area and runway edge lighting as well as the installation and removal of temporary threshold pavement markings and incidental related work.
