SOURCES SOUGHT -- STANDBY ATTITUDE INDICATOR. The U.S. Special Operations Command is seeking to identify sources that are currently producing a Standby Attitude Indicator which meets the following requirements: (A) The indicator will display heading, attitude, airspeed, and altitude; (B) The system must have an independent Gyro; (C) The system will be 28 VDC; (D) The system will have an independent heading and airspeed/altitude source; (E) The system must be qualified to ADS-37A-PRF (Aeronautical Des ign Standard, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E cubed ) Performance and Verification Requirements; (F) The system must be qualified to operate in an Army Aircraft operational environment (Temperature, Altitude, Vibration, Dust/Sand etc.); (G) The indicator must be qualified for use with Night Vision Imaging Systems (NVIS) that are utilized by the Army.; (H) the indicator must be capable of being mounted on various instrument panels (18 degrees and 30 degrees minimum). All sources that have a s ystem that meets or exceeds these requirements are encouraged to response. Your response should include the following information: (A) A copy of previously conducted E cube, NVIS and Environmental testing results; (B) A full description of the system, including space, weight and power requirements; (C) Whether or not the unit is in production and if it is in production who the current customers are.
