Contracting Officer Correction: This action originally publicized in
the CBD dated 2/14/97 was corrected on amendments dated 2/19/97,
3/5/97, 3/11/97, 3/14/97, and 3/19/97. This is the sixth amendment.
Include with your proposal acknowledgement of all amendments by date.
This closing date is extended to 4/1/97, no further questions will be
considered as stated in the amendment dated 3/19/97. The following is
submitted for clarification purposes only. 1) Question: When you say
"95% of the surface", just what do you mean? Do you mean the entire
metal surface or what portion of it comprises the 95% that you refer
to? Answer: "95% of the surface" is taken into regard the entire metal
surface. 2) Question: Does the finish specified in the amendment dated
3/19/97 apply to the fans and duct work between the dust collectors and
the fans as well as the dust collector? Answer: Yes, if it is made of
metal and has the potential to rust when exposed to the atmosphere. 3)
Question: Several types of 2 coat epoxies are available. Is there a
specific type or coating thickness required? Answer: No, as long as
equipment is sandblasted/painted in accordance with SSPC-10 and use
epoxy paint. All other information publicized in the original synopsis
