The National Institutes of Health, (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) has a requirement to purchase a Liquid Chromatography System and accessories on a competitive basis. The System must have variable flow rates, reverse phase and FPLC type chromatography. The system will be used for methods development for purification of proteins and peptides and must have the ability to purify very small amounts of material and to scale up these procedures for large scale purification. The system, itself, must be no deeper than 20 inches (front to back). This scientific equipment has specific specifications that must be met and are described in the RFQ package. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All requests for quotations must be within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000. It is anticipated that Request for Quote (RFQ) Number NIH-NIDDK-97-251 will be available (fifteen) 15 days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is April 28, 1997.
