Price, Contract Specialist, (703) 306-1242 The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to purchase the 1986 -- 1995 social science citation index data from the Institute for Scientific Inofrmation (ISI) on a sole source basis using simplified acquisition procedures, as authorized by FAR Part 13. This is the only bibliometric database, known to NSF, which covers all of the science fields and which also has citation data included in it. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Any information received in response to this notice will be used solely for the purpose of determining if a competitive procurement should be conducted based on Government discretion. See Note 22.
