PROTOTYPE AVAILABILITY The Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR) announces the availability of a prototype of a projected world wide web model for the National Clinical Guideline Clearinghouse, a project for which a request for proposal is currently being developed. While the solicitation package is not yet available the prototype, available on CD-ROM, will be available for review prior to the release of the solicitation. This prototype may be used as a tool in the preparation of proposals in response to the solicitation. This prototype was developed for illustrative purposes only and potential offerors on the solicitation are encouraged not to limit designs of the National Clinical Guideline Clearinghouse to the features of the prototype. Persons or organizations receiving a preliminary copy of the prototype prior to the release of the solicitation will be placed on a mailing list to receive the solicitation when available but will not receive an additional copy of the prototype. It is expected that the prototype will be available on or after April 7, 1997. It is expected that the solicitation will be available on or about May 15, 1997. No further information concerning the solicitation is available at this time.
