V -- LODGING-HOTEL/MOTEL SOL 7-4106 POC Sandy Souders, Lawrence Frazier (301) 713-0854 The U.S. Dept. of Commerce/Office of Export Enforcement will be holding a Counter-terrorism Training Conference in the area of Newport Beach, California during the week of April 20 to 26, 1997, and has a requirement for a conference package (including sleeping rooms for 65 participants for 5 nights (April 20-24) and conference facilities (i.e. meeting rooms, continental breakfasts, AM/PM refreshment breaks, A/V equipment (i.e. overhead projector, screen and cart) and video taping) for 5 days (April 21-25). The selected hotel must meet the following criteria: 1) Availability of sleeping rooms and conference facilities during the week of April 20 to 25, 1997; 2) Close proximity from John Wayne Airport and to the Export Enforcement Office located at 2601 Main Street, Suite 310, Irvine, Ca 92714-6299; 3) Availability of conference room space for 65 to 70 people in School Room Setting; 4) Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping facilities; 5) Close to commercial printer.
